Balwin is full of talented, passionate, creative people â and we want to bring those gifts to the heart of our neighborhood. If youâve ever thought, âIâd love to teach others what I know,â this is your moment.
The Balwin Community League is looking for community members who are excited to share their skills by teaching classes right here in the neighborhood. Whether youâre a seasoned instructor or someone who simply loves a hobby and wants to help others learn, weâd love to hear from you.
đ What Weâre Looking For
We welcome instructors of all backgrounds and experience levels. If you have a skill youâre passionate about, thereâs likely someone in Balwin who would love to learn it.
Here are some of the areas weâre especially excited about:
Dance Classes â salsa, hipâhop, tap, ballroom, cultural dance, and more
Yoga & Mindfulness â yoga flows, meditation, breathwork, relaxation techniques
Cooking & Culinary Arts â baking, cultural cuisine, meal prep, knife skills, nutrition
Arts & Crafts â painting, drawing, knitting, pottery, DIY projects
And of course, weâre open to anything else youâd love to share â from coding to gardening to drumming to language lessons. If it builds community, we want it.
