Balwin is full of talented, passionate, creative people — and we want to bring those gifts to the heart of our neighborhood. If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to teach others what I know,” this is your moment.

The Balwin Community League is looking for community members who are excited to share their skills by teaching classes right here in the neighborhood. Whether you’re a seasoned instructor or someone who simply loves a hobby and wants to help others learn, we’d love to hear from you.

🌈 What We’re Looking For

We welcome instructors of all backgrounds and experience levels. If you have a skill you’re passionate about, there’s likely someone in Balwin who would love to learn it.

Here are some of the areas we’re especially excited about:

  • Dance Classes — salsa, hip‑hop, tap, ballroom, cultural dance, and more

  • Yoga & Mindfulness — yoga flows, meditation, breathwork, relaxation techniques

  • Cooking & Culinary Arts — baking, cultural cuisine, meal prep, knife skills, nutrition

  • Arts & Crafts — painting, drawing, knitting, pottery, DIY projects

And of course, we’re open to anything else you’d love to share — from coding to gardening to drumming to language lessons. If it builds community, we want it.
